He calls me a FRIEND. The creator of the entire universe calls me a FRIEND! Me, who was once a liar, thief, masturbator, addict, proud, and disobedient am no longer bound by the identities that were founded by those actions. I have been liberated by God and elevated to a friend of the only begotten son of God. And he didn’t just elevate me to friendship with his words… he followed it with actions by laying down his life on the cross to become a curse to break my yoke he even though he didn’t deserve it.
